Abstract

This article presents an innovative system leveraging real-time payment data to enhance disaster recovery efforts. By analyzing transaction patterns from various financial sources, the system provides up-to-date information on operational stores and services in disaster-affected areas. The methodology encompasses data collection, store status inference using machine learning, and intuitive data visualization. Case studies demonstrate the system's effectiveness in hurricane and earthquake scenarios, showing significant improvements in resource allocation, community resilience, and economic recovery. Results indicate a 94% accuracy in store identification, 32% reduction in time spent searching for services, and 43% improvement in resource allocation efficiency. While challenges such as data coverage and privacy concerns exist, the system shows promise in revolutionizing disaster response strategies and accelerating community recovery
