This article explores the integration of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Microservices in building modern omnichannel retail commerce solutions. The article examines how these architectural approaches enable retailers to deliver seamless customer experiences across multiple channels while maintaining operational efficiency. Through analysis of implementation patterns, performance metrics, and business outcomes, we demonstrate how the combined architecture provides the foundation for scalable, resilient, and adaptable retail platforms. The article reveals significant improvements in customer engagement, operational efficiency, and business agility, establishing a compelling case for adopting these architectural patterns in modern retail environments.
